Jones Lang LaSalle advises Netas on new offices in Esas Aeropark (TR)

Jones Lang LaSalle's Offices and Logistics team advised Netas (formerly Nortel Netas, Turkish Stock Index IMKB: NETAS) on their 15,744 m² new office acquisition to accommodate their R&D center and headquarters at Esas Aeropark, the very first real estate project of Esas Real Estate Development in Istanbul, Kurtköy, following the disposal of Netas's former headquarters on 94,500 m² land at Umraniye in March 2012 again advised by Jones Lang LaSalle.

The Esas Aeropark Project, located on the Asian side of Istanbul in Kurtköy, is one of the fastest growing and new attraction centers in Istanbul and will accommodate some 1,000 Netas employees across 15,744 m² office space.

The Esas Aeropark mixed-use project, which will comprise 28,000 m² of gross leasable area within 55,000 m² of construction area, is nominated for LEED Gold Certification. The project, designed by renowned Tabanlioðlu Architecture, will be delivered at the end of 2013 and will also accommodate Turkish airline Pegasus' HQ and simulation training center.

Jones Lang LaSalle's Offices and Logistics team has closed some 76,280 m² of office transactions by the end of 2012 H1 including the Netas deal and a number of other mid to large scale transactions including Shell-Altunizade (10,854 m²), Metlife (2,300 m²), Deniz Bank (1,000 m²), multinational five star hotel chain (17,027 m²), multinational company in Azerbaijan (23,000 m²) and many others.
