John Schoonhoven has decided to resign his post as Finance Director of AM NV with effect from 1 January 2006. Now that the company's strategic orientation exercise has culminated in a proposed offer for AM, he is taking the opportunity to broaden his horizons outside AM. On 1 January 2006, he will be starting a new company, Tiansa Beheer BV, which will specialise inter alia in finance consultancy and interim management.
John Schoonhoven joined AM in 1986 and has been Finance Director of AM (formerly (NBM-)Amstelland NV) since 1999. In his 19-year career with AM, he has been responsible for structuring and developing the group's treasury, control and accounting functions and has been closely involved in acquisitions, disposals, financing operations, share issues and other strategic transactions.
