Investire, on behalf of Fondo FIP – Fondo Immobili Pubblici, sells historic building in the heart of Rome.

Built in the '30s, the building has particular architectural value and serves as a backdrop to the Mausoleum of Augustus in Piazza Augusto Imperatore. With a gross lettable area of approximately 14,000m² of office and retail space leased to the Agenzia del Demanio, the building has been acquired by Atlantica Properties, following a competitive procedure that began in June 2016. It now becomes part of the Rovati family’s company patrimony.

Cushman & Wakefield exclusively advised Investire.

According to Carlo Vanini, head of the Capital Markets department in Italy and the Rome office of Cushman& Wakefield: “The competitive procedure that we managed on behalf of Investire has proven that Rome has finally come back on the investor’s radar as well as how much interest there is for prime propertieswith potential for future valorization”.
