ING Real Estate has announced the appointment of Michiel Rang as Senior Managing Director International Real Estate Finance and Member of the Management Board of ING Real Estate Finance as of 1 May 2006.
Mr. Rang will be responsible for ING Real Estates Finance business outside the Netherlands. He will report to Hein Brand, CEO ING Real Estate Finance and Member of the Management Board ING Real Estate.
Michiel Rang (47) previously held the position of Managing Director International Property Finance responsible for business in Continental Europe. He joined ING Real Estate in 2000 from the international banking division of ING Bank where he fulfilled a number of (management) positions in various parts of the world. Mr. Rang holds a degree in international law from the University of Amsterdam.
Following Mr. Rangs appointment it is the intention to appoint Paul Taris (currently responsible for the companys finance business in the UK, US and Australia) in a new role as Deputy Managing Director International of ING Real Estate Finance.
