ING Real Estate appoints Martin Sabelko Managing Director Investment Management Central Europe

ING Real Estate has announced the appointment of Martin Sabelko as Managing Director Investment Management Central Europe as of 1 February 2006. In this role he will be responsible for the local management of ING Property Fund Central Europe as well as all the other regional Investment Management activities of ING Real Estate in Central Europe.

Mr Sabelko will lead the Central European organisation to fulfil the companys growth ambitions within this region. He will report directly to Pieter Hendrikse, CEO ING Real Estate Investment Management Europe.

Mr Sabelko, a native of Austria, can look back on a career of almost 20 years in real estate. He joins ING Real Estate from Sabcon Immobilienberatung, a consultancy he established himself in Austria.

Mr. Sabelko held senior management positions in real estate consultancy, development, property finance and asset management in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Germany. Before starting Sabcon, he was managing partner of DTZ Austria. Prior to this he was CEO of Meinls Central European Land based in Prague. Mr Sabelko holds a law degree from the Unversity of Vienna.
