ING Real Estate is pleased to announce the following appointments to the companys newly established Finance team in the U.K. Jonathan Mitchell has been appointed Managing Director of ING Real Estate Finance U.K. and Tassos Kitsantas has been appointed Director of the companys U.K. Finance team.
Jonathan Mitchell has been appointed Managing Director of ING Real Estate Finance U.K. as of 1 February 2006. Mr. Mitchell will spearhead the expansion of ING Real Estates finance business in the U.K. and lead the Finance branch office in the U.K. This office was established in 2005 as part of the international growth strategy for the Finance business line.
Mr. Mitchell joins ING from Anglo Irish Bank where he held the position of Senior Lender. Before joining Anglo Irish Bank in 1997, he worked for Kredietfinance Corporation Ltd. (now KBC Bank) and Allied Irish Banks. Mr. Mitchell (1962) is a U.K. citizen. He holds a Bachelors degree in History from the University of London.
Tassos Kitsantas has been appointed Director of the companys U.K. Finance team. Mr.Kitsantas held previously the position of Senior Relationship Manager in the International Property Finance department of ING Real Estate, based in the Netherlands. He has been
involved in pan-European and US transactions with focus on the UK over recent years.
Mr. Kitsantas (1968) holds an MBA qualification and two Master Degrees in Building Engineering & Architecture. Before he joined ING Real Estate in 2001, he held several positions in the real estate sector in the United Kingdom, Greece and The Netherlands.
