ING Real Estate today announced the appointment of Fred Bunker Director of its capital advisory team effective 1 September 2008. Fred (age 38) joins from ABN AMRO Bank where he led the European Real Estate sector team as Senior Vice President M&A Advisory.
Earlier in his career he was an equity capital markets specialist at Rabo Securities and tax specialist at KPMG International. Fred Bunker brings a wealth of experience in complex real estate transactions as he has been involved in numerous IPOs and M&A transactions in the real estate sector, including the merger between Unibail and Rodamco.
ING Real Estate has built up its capital advisory capabilities to enable clients to benefit from a real estate specialist team that can provide a broad range of corporate advisory skills, encompassing strategic advice as well as access to real estate equity and debt capital markets. The team now includes 10 professionals with offices in Amsterdam, London and Brussels.
