ICSC announces finalists of the 2007 Solal Marketing Awards at MIPIM (UK)

The finalists of the 2007 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) European Solal Marketing Awards have been announced at MIPIM. The Solal Marketing Awards bring together the very best of retail marketing across Europe, recognising best practice and rewarding those with the most effective campaigns.

ICSC Solal Jury Chair, Carlos Jesus from Sonae Sierra highlighted the high level of creativity and marketing awareness which were evident in many of the submitted campaigns. He said: "We were particularly pleased to see strong evidence of marketing campaigns translating into higher sales within shopping centers, a successful result for both the shopping center and retailers."

Shopping centers from 12 countries across Europe have made the final list, with seven finalists coming from Spain and five from the UK.

The winners of the 2007 ICSC European Solal Awards will be announced at the ICSC European Conference being held at The Hilton Hotel in Warsaw, Poland on Thursday 26th April.

These winners automatically qualify for entry into the internationally-acknowledged ICSC MAXI Awards which recognise excellence in shopping center marketing across the world.
