HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung lays cornerstone for Forum am Hirschgarten (DE)

HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung has laid the cornerstone for the Forum am Hirschgarten, an office and commercial property with a rental area of around 33,000 m², in the center of the urban development area 'Am Hirschgarten – Die Mitte im Grünen'.

From the beginning of 2014, the project – consisting of two buildings on a car-free plaza – will provide around 25,000 m² of office space and roughly 8,000 m² of commercial space. There will also be three underground levels with a good 400 parking slots in the underground garage and storage rooms. Two-thirds of the commercial space and one-quarter of the office space have already been let.

In future, the Forum am Hirschgarten will stand at the center of the Am Hirschgarten urban quarter and will cover the daily needs of the local residential and business district. A REWE supermarket will be taking 2,000 m² of commercial space in the northern building, which will have up to eleven stories. The patent law firm, Epping Hermann Fischer, has already secured 5,000 m² on the eight upper stories. A further 1,500 m² of office space will be used by a real estate company.

The commercial space in the southern, seven-story building will house an Alnatura organic supermarket (700 m²), an Aldi discount store (1,100 m²) and a dm drugstore (650 m²). The Forum am Hirschgarten has already received Silver precertification from the German Sustainable Building Council.
