Henderson hires Head of Property Treasury (UK)

Henderson Global Investors' c. £12.4 billion (approx. €15.2 billion) Property Business has hired Colin Throssell as Head of Property Treasury. Colin will be based in London where he will be responsible for oversight of the Business' debt and treasury instruments, both managing the existing book and sourcing new funds as required. Colin will have responsibility for the London, European and Asia Pacific regions.

Colin joins from his role as a Director at Eurohypo AG London where he worked for over four years with responsibility for transaction execution and relationship management. Before this, he worked in varying roles at Erste Bank, Lehman Brothers and Ernst and Young. In total Colin has 14 years of real estate finance experience.

Will Anderson, Finance Director, Property at Henderson said: "Colin has built up a wealth of experience in the finance market during his career to date. He is bringing into our business more extensive experience of loan structuring and restructuring, and identifying and mitigating key credit risks. This is complemented by a strong network within the industry which we intend to utilise in order to strengthen our own position in the market."
