Hansainvest has just acquired a logistics property for its HANSAreal 1 institutional fund in Leicester/England. The investment volume for the property approximates €38 million.
Completed in 2007, the business building is let to the internationally active company Office Depot International UK Limited through 2027. The annual rent revenues come to approximately €2.5 million.
"The idea behind this acquisition is to reduce the share in office real estate in our institutional fund HANSAreal 1," said Nicholas Brinckmann, Managing Director of Hansainvest. "Our commitment to this commercial property was motivated by the safety of a long-term lease, and the easily accessible location halfway between London and Leeds."
The estate extends over a total area of 76,000 m². The premises include an office building and a warehouse with a gross lettable area of about 32,000 m². The logistics property has great access options, being located close to the M1, 160 km north of London and 150 km south of Leeds.
