Halverton continues their buying tour in Bremen (DE)

Halverton Real Estate Investment Management has now acquired a property in Bremen's industrial estate Bremerkreuz for a light industrial fund. The fully let property has approximately 18,600 m² of storage space as well as supplementary office accommodation.

Bremerkreuz industrial estate is located south of Bremen and is a popular location amongst technicians as the DaimlerChrysler Bremen factories are located there. DaimlerChrysler stipulates that some of their most important suppliers should be located, if possible, within a radius of 20 km of the factories. The property acquired by Halverton is located only 8 km from the factory.

Halverton has received strong demand in Bremen for areas of 5,000 m² and larger which apparently cannot currently be met. Approximately 16,000 m²is available on the property site and could be further developed.
The purchase price is approximately €8 million. The vendor is Sommer Fahrzeugbau GmbH & Co. KG, an ARQUES Group company. The transaction was arranged by ProConsult, Hamburg.

The Bremerkreuz property is Halverton's second acquisition in this town belonging to the Hanseatic league. In October last year, Halverton succeeded in purchasing the Louis Krages site in Bremen's industrial docks for their HBI Fund. The site comprises approximately 250,000 m² of floor area provides 145,000 m² storage space in the northern Bremen and is currently almost fully let. Both properties are managed by Katja Puschmann from Halverton's Berlin Asset Management Team.
