Panattoni Europe's new investment for RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska Sp. z o.o. is an industrial facility featuring a total space of 10,700 m², of which 8,800 m² will be dedicated to manufacturing and storing aircraft seats. The remaining space at the facility (1,900 m²) will serve as offices and staff space. Project completion is planned for Q2 2012.

"Thanks to this investment, RECARO Aircraft Seating will be able to fill new orders and keep developing innovative seating solutions," said Uwe Köthe, General Manager of Recaro Aircraft Seating Polska Sp. z o.o.

The new production hall for RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska Sp. z o.o. will be built in Swiebodzin, at ul. Luzycka. It is part of the regional road no 276, running from Swiebodzin to Krosno Odrzanskie. Úwiebodzin has a strategic location in western Poland. It lies at the intersection of the national road no 2 dissecting Poland from east to west (Terespol-Swiecko) with the national road no S3 which links the northwest of Poland with the southwest (running from Swinoujscie to the border crossing to the Czech Republic in Jakuszyce).

In Poland, the S3 - once completed - will run for 500 km and connect such cities as Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zielona Góra, Legnica. RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska Sp. z o.o. is already based in Swiebodzin, with the head office at ul. Sobieskiego, merely a few kilometers from the new factory.
