Goodman, the international integrated property group that owns, develops and manages business and logistics space, announces that it has signed a lease with GEFCO for 18,000 m² at its logistics center at Isle d'Abeau. This latest signing follows another 12,000-m² lease recently signed at Isle d'Abeau with a leading logistics firm.
Isle d'Abeau is the most important logistics hub in the Lyon region, and Goodman's 30,700-m² building is now 100% leased.
Welcoming the decision by GEFCO, one of the largest European transport and logistics groups, to lease 18,000 m² of space, Jean-François Mounic, Goodman's Regional Director Southern Europe, said: "While GEFCO is one of our customers elsewhere in Europe, this is our first time to lease space to the group in France. Following this new cooperation we hope to support GEFCO in its future developments in France and in other European countries."
This transaction follows the leasing of 12,000 m² to a major logistics firm, which was brokered by CBRE Global Logistics Services, and completes the marketing of the Isle d'Abeau building as it is now 100% leased.
The next-generation, class-A building is built on a 7.7-hectare site and is located 2 km from the A43 motorway that links Lyon and Grenoble, 40 km from Lyon and 15 minutes from Lyon International Airport.
