Global integrated property group, Goodman, has completed work on a 25,908 m² building comprising three industrial units at Aylesford Commercial Park in Kent. The units, which were built speculatively, have now been sold to an institutional investor at practical completion.

Aylesford Commercial Park in New Hythe, Kent is situated in a prime south east location close to Junction 4 of the M20, Junction 2 of the M1 and Junctions 3 and 5 of the M25. The new, high quality units provide 7,132 m² to 10,607 m² of warehouse, industrial and distribution space and feature an innovative curved roofing solution, which delivers multiple sustainability benefits.

The build took 30 weeks and each unit has a nine metre clear height, office space, secure gated yards and an Energy Performance Certificate grade A. The sale of the speculatively developed three unit terrace on a plot of 1.6 hectares represents the final transaction at Aylesford Commercial Park. It follows a pre-let deal to Kent County Council of a 34,137 m² state-of-the-art warehouse facility.
