GfK new 40,000 ft² headquarters in Canary Wharf (UK)

GfK has become the latest in a long list of occupiers to agree to move its UK headquarters to 25 Canada Square in Canary Wharf, London.
The Nuremburg-based business has agreed to take 40,000 ft² (approx. 3,716 m²) at the property on a new lease from October 2014. GfK is one of the world’s leading research companies, with more than 13,000 employees working in over 100 markets. Global mobile phone operator Truphone and energy provider International Power – a subsidiary of French utility giant GDF Suez – have both also agreed to take approximately 60,000 ft² (approx. 5,574 m²) each in the building.
The General Pharmaceutical Council has signed up for 39,000 ft² (approx. 3,623 m²) at the office tower, as has the owner of Europe’s largest cloud services platform, Interoute Communications which acquired 40,000 ft² (approx. 3,716 m²) of office and data center space, while software support business Rimini Street has agreed to take 3,700 ft² (approx. 344 m²) of space. With some 11 occupiers acquiring accommodation, over 300,000 ft² (approx. 27,870 m²) has been let so far in 2014.
