Greek real estate and construction company GEK has announced that its local based subsidiary Icon Eood has acquired a 16,356-m² property in the Bulgarian Rila Mountain Resort Borovetz for €19.6 million, submitting the best offer in a tender held by the Municipality of Samokov.
GEK, however, has not revealed more details for its plans to develop the site. Borovetz, located some 70 km from Sofia, is the oldest mountain resort in the Balkans.
