Galleria Arad continues to attract the most important international fashion retailers beside its strong food anchor Cora Hypermarket and entertainment anchor Cinema City. The mall is being developed by GTC Romania, the subsidiary of Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC).
Galleria Arad is already over 85% leased and GTC is now finalizing lease agreements with several other important international and local retailers.
"Galleria Arad will offer a large variety of local and international fashion retailers, entertainment and dining options and as well a strong hypermarket. We are very proud to announce that Inditex Group has chosen to join GTC's project. With Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius and Pull&Bear, Galleria Arad will become a must-visit shopping destination of Arad this autumn," Shimon Galon, CEO of GTC Romania, said.
GTC holds 100% of shares in Galleria Arad. The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The city of Arad is located in Western part of Romania and serves as an important industrial center and transportation hub with more than 170,000 inhabitants. Galleria Arad is located on the main artery of the town within a densely populated area, on Aurel Vlaicu Boulevard. With its location, tenant mix and architectural features, Galleria Arad aims to be the main attraction of the city.
