Futureal Group selects letting agents for first office building of Corvin Promenade in Budapest (HU)

Futureal Group has concluded an exclusive agency contract with DTZ Hungary Ltd. and GVA Hungary Ltd. for the letting of the first office building to be built at Corvin Promenade. Corvin Promenade, with a total surface area of 150,000 m², is the greatest office investment in Budapest. The investment will be realised in several phases, the completion is expected in 2012.

Futureal Group is the investor and developer of the largest urban regeneration project in CEE, in the city-center of Budapest, Hungary. With a project value of €500 million, Futureal will develop the following functions:

  • Residential zone with 3,000 new homes – developed and sold by Cordia Hungary Co.
  • Office quarter with "A" class office space on a surface area of 150,000 m²
  • Retail trade zone of 55,000 m² with shops, services and catering units
  • Fitness center with swimming pool of 2,500 m²
  • Underground garages with 5,000 parking places

The Corvin Offices I, to be built based on the plans of Stúdió100 Architects Kft., will be realised on the area between Futó street and Nagytemplom street, at the Ferenc RR station of M3 underground line, with a surface office area of 17,500 m² to be let. The foundation engineering works of the office building were started by Swietelsky Builder Ltd. in October 2006. The expected inauguration date of the office building is December 2007.

Corvin Offices I

Regarding the design of the Corvin Offices, the developer follows the concept of 'Everything in one place' already known at Corvin Promenade; here, all the services will be found within a walking distance of 5 minutes. The inner city location at the junction point of Üllõi Boulevard means excellent access both by public transport and motor vehicles. The vicinity of the airport corridor further improves the advantages of the office buildings because Ferihegy Airport is only a distance of 20 minutes by car. The Promenade itself, of a length of 700 metres and a width of 36 metres, provides the speciality of the new quarter, which also offers entertainment opportunities to employees working here, in the form of a walk or a chat in the local restaurants. The proximity of Corvin Science Park means a further advantage to the companies that wish to move there, which providing the opportunity for entering into research & development and scientific relations with universities and research institutes located here.
