Foster + Partners is one of eight leading companies launching a report warning of the grave risks posed by a 2013 peak in oil production.
The Oil Crunch: Securing the UK's Energy Future is published by the newly-formed UK Industry Taskforce on Peak Oil and Energy Security, and is the first multi-company alarm bell to be sounded on the issue. The report urges the government to prioritise the peak oil threat, dramatically increase investment in clean energy and renewables and develop and implement a long-term transport strategy, founded on renewable energy sources.
