FADESA appoints Ignacio Ponce as CFO (ES)

The FADESA Group has named Ignacio Ponce as CFO, an incorporation which concludes the process to renovate the top management posts which the company began last April when Antonio de la Morena was named Chief Executive Officer.

In his new role in charge of Financial area, Ponce takes on maximum supervision and control of the areas of Corporate Finance and Treasury, Tax, Management Control, Accounting and consolidation and Investors Relations within Fadesa Group.

Ignacio Ponce (Madrid, 36) graduated in Economic and Business Sciences from Madrid's Complutense University and MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. He has also taken various courses in Top Management at the IESE/ Harvard Business School and INSEAD, among others.

For the last seven years Ponce has been linked to the Telefónica Group. Between 1999 and 2005, he was Vice-President of Finance and M&A of the Terra Networks Group. When it merged with Telefónica S.A., in the last twelve months, as Telefónica's Assessment and Financial Integration Manager, he has headed the acquisition and financial integration of the European Group O2. He began his professional career in Arthur Andersen, where he worked from 1994 to 1999.

The new CFO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of FADESA, joining as such the rest of the Group's General Managers.
