Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WestImmo) has been honoured with the CEE Retail Real Estate Award for "Bank/Finance Provider of the Year 2008". Five other banks with a strong presence in this region were nominated alongside WestImmo.
EuropaProperty, one of the best known property magazines in Eastern Europe, conferred the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards for the first time in order to highlight the importance of the central and east European real estate market.
"WestImmo sees this award as recognition from its business partners and confirmation of its strategic approach. The bank has demonstrated that it is willing to support its customers with financing even in these difficult times", said Claus-Jürgen Cohausz, CEO of WestImmo.
The event was held as part of the CEE Retail Conference in Warsaw. The jury comprised some 50 leading personalities, including investors, project developers, lawyers, expert assessors and public accountants.
