Europa Capital appoints Nic Fox as Director for Germany and France (DE/FR)

Nic Fox, formerly Managing Principal at US fund manager Westbrook Partners, has joined London based Europa Capital as Director responsible for new investments in Germany and France.

Fox joined Westbrook as a Director in January 2002, with responsibility for asset management and new acquisitions in Europe. He was promoted to Principal in September 2003 and to Managing Principal in September 2005 and was a member of Westbrook's Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Westbrook, he was a partner at international real estate adviser Healey & Baker, now Cushman & Wakefield. Fox managed the firm's Düsseldorf office from 1991 to 1996 and in late 1996 returned to London to establish Healey & Baker's international investment division before being seconded to the firm's new investment advisory arm, HBIA, in 1999, which advised investors from the USA into Europe, and vice versa. Prior to joining Healey & Baker he worked for ten years in leasing and investment brokerage in the UK.

Europa Capital is currently investing its fourth and fifth European real-estate funds. Europa Fund II has to date committed to 20 investments across 10 European Union countries. Europa Emerging Europe Fund will be investing in non-European Union countries.
Noel Manns, a Principal at Europa, comments "We are delighted that Nic has come across to Europa. He is a very experienced player in the European property markets."

"I enjoyed contributing to the Westbrook's success over the last five years", said Fox. "But I wanted to refocus personally on the German and French markets where I am most familiar and which, I believe, offer some of the most interesting opportunities going forward, and which will be central to Europa's investment programme."
