EPRA announces the appointment of Unibail-Rodamco's Guillaume Poitrinal as Association Chairman

EPRA is pleased to announce the appointment as Chairman of one of the leading figures in real estate – Guillaume Poitrinal, Chairman of the management board and CEO of Unibail-Rodamco. Out-going Chairman, Serge Fautré, said: "It's been a fantastic four years at the helm. We have seen many highs, and more recently a few lows; however I'm proud to say I leave the Association in great shape for the future."

Guillaume Poitrinal, Chairman of the management board and CEO of Unibail-Rodamco and newly elected EPRA Chairman, said: "It is a great honor to chair this influential organization. My aim is to consolidate the excellent work that has been done by Serge Fautré over the last four years. We must continue to defend the model of publicly-traded real estate companies which has proved so impressively resilient throughout this once-in-a-lifetime crisis."

Philip Charls, EPRA's CEO, said, "I am looking forward to working with Guillaume over his term as EPRA Chairman, and am extremely pleased that the Chairman comes from the largest listed property company in Europe. I believe this sets the correct tone for EPRA at this point in time and Guillaume will provide us with strong leadership over the course of his two-year term."
