ECE's new shopping center development in the Italian city of Verona will open in spring 2017 under the name “Adigeo”. The leasing of the property has made great progress: Approximately 70 percent of the rental spaces have already been leased to renowned international and Italian brands. These include several labels of Inditex Group such as Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear and Zara Home, the sneaker and streetwear specialist Snipes, concepts like Deichmann, C&A or Guess, as well as shops of Italian brands such as Piquadro or Carpisa.

Adigeo will consist of a leasable area of approximately 42,000m² and roughly 130 shops, including an Interspar supermarket and premium dining outlets. More than 2,000 parking spaces will be available to visitors. The construction has made significant progress: The shell construction will be completed by August this year. After the opening of the center, ECE Italia will take over its management.

“The high leasing rate speaks for the quality of the project and demonstrates the potential that many international and Italian retailers see in Adigeo,” said Christoph Augustin, Managing Director International at ECE and Project Manager for Adigeo. “We are looking forward to open this special shopping center.”

ECE develops Adigeo in collaboration with the real estate developer CDS Holding and CDS Costruzioni as general contractor. ECE had taken over the entire development from CDS last year. The investment volume for the center amounts to approximately 150 million euros. The center will create approximately 1,000 jobs. The property will be constructed to meet the standards of an LEED sustainability certificate in gold.
