ECE adds sixth shopping center in Russia to its management portfolio (RU)

ECE has taken over the management and leasing of yet another shopping center in Russia: Aura in Surgut is the sixth shopping center in the portfolio of ECE Russia. The company now manages six centers comprising 1,200 shops on a leasable area of more than 400,000 m² in total. Moreover, the owner of Aura in Yaroslavl has extended the management contract with ECE. Both Aura centers are owned by the investor Renaissance Development.

 

Aura, which is located in the in the western Siberian city of Surgut, accommodates 180 shops on a leasable area of 65,000 m². Its anchor tenants include Media Markt, an Okey hypermarket, all labels of Inditex Group, H&M, Koton, and a cinema. The center, which is located in a growing city district about 15 minutes from the city center, was opened in 2013 and has 2,500 parking spaces. Surgut is an economically strong regional center. Due to the oil and gas processing companies, it is a city with a strong purchase power and a low unemployment rate. The city has 340,000 inhabitants and has been growing significantly in the past years.

Only recently, ECE Russia had taken over the management and leasing of Mari in Moscow. The other centers managed by ECE Russia are Golden Babylon, Vremena Goda, and Dream House in Moscow and Aura in Yaroslavl.
