EBP appoints Donald Lake as Non-Executive Director (UK)

Equest Balkan Properties plc (EBP) has appointed Donald Lake (62) as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. Mr. Lake is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is based in the Isle of Man.

Mr. Lake brings to EBP over thirty years' experience in the development of commercial and residential building projects, both in the UK and in Europe. In addition, Lake brings valuable experience in property investment in emerging markets through his role as a Director of Unitech Corporate Parks plc. He is also a director of Close High Income Properties PLC, listed on the London Stock Exchange, Healthcare and Leisure Property Fund PLC and Business Centre Properties PLC. Additionally, between 1977 and 1991, Lake was retained as an advisor to the board of Crusader Insurance plc, in respect of its property investments and was the sole external member of the property investment and mortgage committees.

Commenting on Donald Lake's appointment, Lord Anthony St John of Bletso, Chairman of EBP, said, "We are delighted to welcome Donald to the company. His experience in the UK and internationally will be of considerable benefit to EBP as we continue our progress in investing in high quality assets on behalf of the company's shareholders. Equest Balkan Properties plc is a commercial property investment company focused on South Eastern Europe and primarily Bulgaria and Romania. EBP is managed by Equest Property Management Limited (EPML), a British Virgin Islands company.
