Dominvs Group has acquired 369-373 Staines Road, Hounslow, to add to its UK residential development portfolio. The 0.54-acres site is currently owned by Travis Perkins, with the store due to close at the end of November. Dominvs is proposing to demolish the existing Travis Perkins and redevelop the site into residential flats. All units will be under the help to buy scheme increasing the affordable housing supply in Hounslow. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The site is located within a predominately residential area, approximately a 5-minute drive from Hounslow town centre and 5 miles from Heathrow Terminal 5. Hounslow is well connected to central London, with Hounslow Train Station offering a 40-minute direct train to London Victoria. In addition, Hounslow West, Hounslow Central and Hounslow East Underground stations are all serviced by the Piccadilly Line.
