Deka Immobilien sells office building in Sweden for €37 mln (SE)

Deka Immobilien GmbH has concluded the sale of an office building in Solna, part of the Stockholm metropolitan area in Sweden. The German arm of the investment management company Schroders Real Estate Investment Management acquired the property for SEK340 mln (approx. €37 mln).
The property had been part of the portfolio of the open-ended real estate mutual fund Deka- ImmobilienEuropa.
The L-shaped office building is located approximately ten km north of the business center of Stockholm in the Solna sub-market. It provides around 12,000 m² of leasable space and more than 400 parking places in an underground garage. The property is currently being used by five tenants, with DHL Nordic AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG, occupying the largest share of the space. Deka-ImmobilienEuropa purchased the property newly built in 2004.
