DEGI International lets 10,000 m² in Warsaw (PL)

Aberdeen Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH has entered into a long-term renewal lease agreement with Deutsche Bank for its Polish head office in Warsaw. The property is directly held by the Open-ended Property Fund DEGI INTERNATIONAL. The Focus Filtrowa building, which comprises a rental area of 34,000 m², was built in 2000 and purchased by Aberdeen Immobilien for DEGI INTERNATIONAL in 2007.

Despite the current real-estate market environment the high-quality, centrally-located property has held its own against numerous competitors, including new developments in the area. The lease agreement, entered into with Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. and Deutsche Bank PBC S.A. for 9,900 m², has a fixed term of seven years. Cushman & Wakefield acted as broker on behalf of Aberdeen.

Managing Director Fabian Klingler explains; "In view of Poland's stable economic position, the investments in Warsaw are among those with the greatest long-term success record in the entire real-estate portfolio managed by Aberdeen Immobilien."
