Cushman & Wakefield to advise on Mall of Russia retail project in the heart of Moscow City (RU)

AFI Development, the developer of the project, has appointed Cushman & Wakefield as one of the letting agents of retail and entertainment center Mall of Russia.

Retail and entertainment center Mall of Russia is located in the center of the largest business project in Europe – Moscow International Business Center Moscow-City. The shopping center has a GBA of 179,000 m², with a GLA of 101,000 m². The six-level shopping center will contain more than 400 shops, a supermarket of X5 Retail Group, electronics and appliance stores, fashion gallery, children goods stores, an entertainment area, and a food court with over 50 restaurants and cafes. Such brands as H&M, Zara, Zara Man, Zara Home, New Yorker, SPORTMASTER, Marks & Spencer, GAP, Next are among the fashion gallery tenants. The entertainment zone will include multiplex 'Formula Kino' with unique 4D and 5D screens. The complex will open its doors in December 2010.

Mall of Russia has direct entrances to two underground stations Mezhdunarodnaya and Vystavochnaya. Three-level underground parking for over 2,700 cars lots to be accessed from three streets - Krasnopresnenskaya Naberezhnaya, the Third Ring Road and 1st Krasnogvardeisky proezd.

"There is not any project in the center of Moscow with a trade area like this, benefitting from more than 300,000 people in a five-minute access and the potential employees working in MIBC 'Moscow City'," said Mikhail Sverdlov, Associate at Retail Department. "We are confident that Mall of Russia will be one of the favorite places of Muscovites and city visitors for shopping and entertainment."
