Paulina Misiak, Partner, Head of Tenant Representation Services, Office Department, Cushman & Wakefield, says: "The first half of 2011 was another record period as regards the volume of space leased in Warsaw. The upward trend which began in the latter half of 2010 proved strong and the intensified gross take up is expected to be followed by an increase in real space absorption. Stronger activity is also seen in regional cities as one-third of the transactions in which C&W was involved was made outside Warsaw. As expected, the highest increase in demand is recorded in Lodz and Katowice."
