CoreNet Global announces the retirement of CEO Prentice Knight

CoreNet Global announced today its Chief Executive Officer for the last three years, Dr. Prentice Knight, is to retire. Dr. Knight was named CEO in April, 2006.

Over the next few weeks Prentice will assist the Officers of the global corporate real estate association in making a smooth transition to an Interim CEO who will in turn work with the Global Board to maintain continuity while searching for a long-term replacement.

Chair of the Global Board, Barry Varcoe, said, "Prentice became CEO of CoreNet Global at a challenging time for the Association, and has not only expertly steered us towards an exciting future, but has done so during the worst global recession in living memory. We recognize, however, that Prentice has made significant personal sacrifices in undertaking this role, spending much of his time away from his Kentucky home and family. We accept his wish to retire now with our thanks and best wishes for his future."

The Association anticipates making an announcement regarding the Interim CEO position within the next few weeks.

CoreNet Global is the world's leading professional association for corporate real estate executives with 7,000 members based in 55 chapters worldwide. For more information, visit www.corenetglobal.org.
