Cordea Savills appoints Kiran Patel as Chief Investment Officer

Cordea Savills, the international property investment manager, has appointed Kiran Patel as Chief Investment Officer with a global remit. As a member of Cordea Savills Executive Committee, Patel will be instrumental in the creation and implementation of investment and risk strategies, strengthening the research capabilities and growing the company both in terms of new business lines and international markets.

Patel is a highly respected and well-known figure in the global property investment arena with more than 20 years' experience in the industry. He joins from AXA Real Estate, where he spent 11 years and was latterly Global Head of Business Development, Distribution, Research and Strategy and a member of a member of AXA Real Estate's management board and executive committee.

Prior to this, Patel was an Associate Director at Legal & General Investment Management, where he gained recognition for developing innovative investment techniques and fund structures, having started his real estate career at Hillier Parker.
