Cordea Savills appoints Global Head of Institutional Business (UK)

Cordea Savills has appointed Michael Flynn as Global Head of Institutional Business. Previously head of Cordea Savills' Singapore office, Michael Flynn will assume global responsibility for capital raising and client services.

Justin O'Connor, CEO of Cordea Savills, commented, "We created this new role in response to the increasingly global nature of capital flows targeting private real estate funds. In this challenging environment, clients require increased support throughout the life of their investments. Centralizing these functions globally under Michael positions us to better serve our investors."

Michael Flynn added: "We are experiencing a period of rapid and radical changes right across the financial services sector and the property funds management industry is no exception. My new appointment reflects Cordea Savills desire to increase the focus on clients and how we can better meet their investment and servicing requirements."

Michael has over 15 years of experience dealing with institutional investors in a career that began in investment banking with Credit Suisse First Boston in 1993. During time spent at ING Barings, Goldman Sachs and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, he advised on many public and private equity raising deals in a variety of sectors across Europe, Latin America and Asia.
