Construction starts of largest logistics park in Tatarstan and the upper Volga region (RU)

Construction has begun on a new Class A logistics park — Q Park Kazan. It is the largest warehousing project in Tatarstan. The project is located 25 km from the center of Kazan in close vicinity to the International Airport and Ring Road. The project comprises three phases with a total area of 230,000 m². The developer of the project, RDS Developments together with the Investor, Quinn Group plan to invest more than US$100 million. Jones Lang LaSalle is acting as the exclusive marketing agent of the project.

Q Park Kazan will use all contemporary construction and engineering technologies and its infrastructure will include parking for cars and trucks, guarded perimeter fencing, 24-hour security, an on-site employee shuttle service, truck driver facilities, mezzanine storage and office space. The park has easy access to all major highways including those to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Perm, Chelyabinsk, Nizhniy Novgorod and Ufa. The first phase of 69,120 m² is planned to open in the third quarter of 2007, with phases two and three opening in 2009.
