Commerz Real just acquired a logistics property that is about to be raised in immediate proximity of the Frankfurt International Airport. An exclusive lease for the property with a fixed term of at least ten years has been signed with DHL Express Germany GmbH. The company is the world's market leader in the international express shipping business. Following its completion in 2009, the property will be added to Commerz Real's EURO LOGISTIK 1 institutional fund. The total investment volume equals roughly €16 million. The property was sold by the developer Harder & Partner.
