CBRE Russia reopens retail department (RU)

RTK Group's team, which provides a full range of services in retail, has moved to CBRE.

Founded in 2010 by Managing Director Mikhail Rogozhin, RTK Group, provides the full scope of consulting services in leasing and sale of retail premises in shopping centers and mixed-use complexes all around Russia. The team that has joined CBRE in Russia consists of eight people, including Managing Director, Mikhail Rogozhin, three Associate Directors, Nadezhda Tsvetkova, Anastasia Sharkova and Evgeniy Obolentsev and a team of consultants.

From 1999 till 2010 Mikhail Rogozhin worked for Jones Lang LaSalle where he held the position of the Deputy Head of the Retail Department for six years. Over 26 projects totaling 1 million m² were leased and opened under Mikhail's management. Nadezhda Tsvetkova moved to RTK Group from Jones Lang LaSalle. Prior to RTK Group Anastasia Sharkova worked for Chizhov's Gallery Management Company and Jones Lang LaSalle and Evgeniy Obolentsev prior to RTK Group worked for Cushman & Wakefield and IKEA MOS.

Mikhail Rogozhin's team works with clients in many regions of the Russian Federation and provides a wide range of services, including shopping center concept development or optimization, market analysis to determine the best commercial terms, secure pre-lease tenants and negotiate lease terms, as well as marketing consultancy. Since its foundation RTK Group's team opened four retail projects in the Russian regions of over 350,000 m² , including such well-known projects as Premier shopping center in Ryazan (totaling 94,000 m²) and Surgut City Mall shopping center in Surgut (of 150,000 m²).

Among all the active projects of the new retail department it is important to highlight seven of the most important projects, such as Fortuna City Mall in Irkutsk (220,000 m²), as well as mixed-use complex Maxim in Tyumen, Oktyabrskiy shopping center in Tver, Arena in Norilsk, Solnechniy shopping center in Noviy Urengoy, Arkada shopping center in Ufa and City-Park shopping center in Saransk.

According to the latest research by CBRE, the Russian retail market is the most attractive for international non-food retailers due to the strength and pace of the economic development of the country as a whole and consumer retail in particular. In the second half of 2012 we have seen growth of activity in retail development associated with the restart of old projects and the development of new ones. Over 16 new international retailers came to the Russian market in 2012 and 2013 is anticipated to be as active as the previous year.
