CBRE builds up its capital raising and secondaries platform in Asia Pacific

CB Richard Ellis, the world's largest commercial real estate services firm, is pleased to announce that Mr Chris van Beek has been appointed as Director, Real Estate Finance, Asia.

Mr van Beek, based in Hong Kong, will primarily be responsible for capital raising (equity and debt) and facilitating secondaries transactions for institutional investors, working closely together with the Real Estate Finance teams globally, including the desks in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, London, Amsterdam, and the US.

Mr. van Beek joins CB Richard Ellis from GFI Colliers (Hong Kong) & Colliers International (Hong Kong), where he was involved in Asia Pacific property derivatives as well as regional direct and indirect investment.

The CBRE Real Estate Finance team comprises a group of real estate professionals with extensive experience in banking, international ratings agencies, research and real estate consultancy. Providing strategic investment advisory services and funding solutions to property companies, institutions, unlisted funds, banks and private equity investors worldwide.
