CBRE appoints new UK Head of Retail (UK)

CBRE today announces the appointment of Phil Cann as UK Head of Retail. Cann is currently responsible for leading the UK Retail Capital Markets team and has worked in the Central London retail investment market specializing in investment transactions on behalf of domestic and international investors. Cann joined CBRE in 2005 through the acquisition of Dalgleish & Co.

Malcolm Dalgleish, Chairman of EMEA and UK Retail, CBRE added: “Having worked with Phil for the past 20 years I know that he will be an excellent leader for the retail team. Cann succeeds Ciaran Bird who was promoted to UK Managing Director of CBRE in January. His new role will take effect on September 1, 2013.


Malcolm Dalgleish will continue in his role as Chairman of EMEA and UK Retail, focusing on key client relationships and the ongoing growth of CBRE’s retail business across the region.


Stewart Colderick will assume responsibility for the UK Retail Capital Markets team.
