CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) today announced three new senior hires in Sweden. The appointments include new heads for both its Capital Markets and Valuation teams and add significant local market expertise to CBRE's Swedish business and the company's broader Nordic platform.

Daniel Andersson has been appointed Head of Capital Markets, CBRE Sweden. Daniel joins from fund and asset management company, GPT Halverton, where he was partner for three years with prime responsibility for property acquisitions across the Nordic region. Prior to that, he worked at Jones Lang LaSalle. At CBRE, Daniel will be responsible for responding to interest in the Swedish property market from both domestic and international investors as market sentiment continues to improve.

Tobias Brynjer also joins the company's Swedish Capital Markets team. Tobias' experience includes eight years at Nordic property advisor, Leimdörfer, and he brings both transaction and real estate finance expertise to CBRE's local client base.

Anders Almqvist has been appointed Head of Valuation, CBRE Sweden. Anders brings twenty years local market valuation experience to the team. Prior to CBRE, Anders ran his own consultancy, ARES Almqvist Real Estate Solutions AB, specialising in valuation, tenant representation and leasing services. He previously worked as Head of Valuation at Cushman and Wakefield. Anders will be responsible for the further development of CBRE's valuation business across Sweden addressing changing local and international client needs.

Commenting on the new appointments, Johan Elfstadius, Managing Director of CBRE Sweden, said: "The fact that we continue to secure some of the market's most notable property instructions highlights the exceptional service that the CBRE team already delivers in Sweden. These latest appointments add almost 40 years of additional local market expertise to our rapidly growing operation and position us for strong future growth as the recovery continues to gather momentum."

CBRE first established an office in Sweden in 1999. Today a 43-strong team, based in Stockholm and Gothenburg, provide agency, valuation, capital markets and corporate services to a wide array of clients. All three new hires will be based in CBRE's Stockholm office.
