Carlyle names Daniel Cummings as Senior Advisor; to focus on international real estate (US)

Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group has announced that Daniel W. Cummings, formerly a Carlyle Managing Director, has been named a Senior Advisor for international real estate investments. In this capacity, Mr. Cummings will help identify real estate investments and develop new investment vehicles in Europe, Asia and other regions. Mr. Cummings begins his duties immediately and will remain based in Washington, DC.

Mr. Cummings joined Carlyle in 2000 as a Managing Director focusing on real estate investing and new product development. He has been and will continue to be a Member of the Investment Committee for the Europe and Asia Real Estate funds. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Cummings was Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of LaSalle Investment Management, where he managed a $22 billion portfolio of public and private real estate investment activities in North America and Europe during his 20 years with the firm. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of his parent firm, Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated ("JLL" on the NYSE).
