Carlo Sant'Albano to be named Cushman & Wakefield Chairman (US)

Cushman & Wakefield Inc. has announced that Carlo Sant'Albano will be named Chairman of the Board. The appointment will become effective following the next Cushman & Wakefield Board meeting in early March. He will be based in London.

For the past five years, Sant'Albano has served as Chief Executive Officer of EXOR, Cushman & Wakefield's majority shareholder. He has been a member of Cushman & Wakefield's Board of Directors since 2007.

Cushman & Wakefield President & CEO Glenn Rufrano has worked with Sant'Albano to develop the firm's strategic plan, which aims to grow the Company and expand the platform globally.

According to Rufrano, "Carlo's broad international experience, deep client relationships and strong investment background will accelerate the success we've had in 2010. With his support, we will be even better positioned to achieve our growth strategy. Our entire management team is looking forward to working with him."

Sant'Albano will continue to serve on various boards including EXOR, FIAT, Juventus Football Club and Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to joining EXOR, Sant'Albano was at Credit Suisse based in New York and London.

In his new role, Sant'Albano will also work with John Cushman III, who will become Co-chairman of the Board. Cushman will continue to focus his efforts on new business, client relationships, and as a member of the Board, the strategic direction of the firm on a global basis.

Sant'Albano graduated from Brown University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
