The Ben Adams Architects-designed scheme will create a 40,000 ft² (approx. 3,700-m²), grade-A City office. The planning consent for comprehensive improvements to the building includes converting the existing ground floor car park to office accommodation, extending the floors on three levels and adding a new sixth floor.

The property is located immediately adjacent to Paternoster Square and The Old Bailey.

Beltane Asset Management, an investment and asset management company run by Jonathan Chenery and Duncan Roe purchased St Paul's House in August last year.

Beltane partner Duncan Roe said: "We will be shortly appointing a contractor and are pleased to announce that we will begin work on this exciting new scheme at the end of the summer. We are also currently running our slide rule over a number of other potential opportunities both in the City and the West End."

The letting agents on St Paul's House are Gerald Eve and Jones Lang LaSalle.
