BancWest Corporation appoints Thibault Fulconis Executive Vice President and CFO (US)

BancWest Corporation, part of BNP Paribas, has announced that Thibault Fulconis has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Fulconis was also named Vice Chairman of Finance at Bank of the West. His appointment effective immediately, follows the retirement of Doug Grigsby, who held both positions.

"Although I am sad to see Doug retire," said BancWest President & Chief Executive Officer Don J. McGrath, "I am pleased to bring someone of Thibault's caliber to BancWest. His long experience with our parent BNP Paribas' financial management will ensure a seamless transition as he assumes new responsibilities here."

Fulconis has been with BNP Paribas since 1989, serving most recently as Head of Finance and Development for the International Retail and Financial Services Division (IRFS). Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Fulconis was an analyst with Booz Allen Hamilton in Paris. Fulconis graduated from Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) with a major in finance.
