Azora Europa buys Mokotow Plaza (ES/PL)

At the end of July, Azora Europa bought Mokotow Plaza, a new and competitive office building in the attractive business area of Mokotow in Warsaw.

The building comprises 15,300 m² of lettable office space and 255 parking places.

The property is leased to top-level companies (i.e. MediaCom, Telepizza, VF Polska Distribution, Hachette Livre, Polkomtel) and the value of the transaction was €33 mln.

Azora Europa is a Spanish real estate private equity investor which is very active in the CEE region, and especially in Poland, since 2007.

In addition to Mokotow Plaza, Azora is the owner of Cristal Park – a new office building, bought in December 2009 from Yareal for €30 mln. Furthermore, it is developing two residential projects in Warsaw comprising more than 900 apartments.

Azora is progressing positively in the completion of its investment process. In this sense, it is actively looking for new opportunities to extend its portfolio in real estate in the CEE region, aiming to close some additional transactions during the last quarter of 2010 and 2011.
