AXA REIM opens office in Stockholm (SE/FR)

AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (AXA REIM) has announced that it has opened an office in Stockholm to support its expansion into Scandinavia.

Jérôme Arnaud will lead the operational presence in Stockholm as Head of Asset Management for Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Jérôme was previously Senior Asset Manager for AXA REIM France in charge of shopping centre portfolios and major offices assets.

The new Scandinavian office's main objective will be to manage the existing investment portfolio which was recently established in the region, and which represents around €700 million of assets.

Jérôme will work closely with Richard Ray, Managing Director for AXA REIM Belgium, who is also in charge of acquisitions for Scandinavian countries. Richard has already completed 4 significant purchases within the last 8 months and will continue to service the current buying requirements of AXA REIM's various pan-European real estate funds.

Commenting on the opening, Christian Delaire, Managing Director of Fund Management at AXA REIM France, and in charge of AXA REIM's development in the Scandinavian Region said: "The opening of our Stockholm office underlines our commitment to our clients who attach great importance to having local operating capability in all markets in which we invest on their behalf."
