AXA Real Estate Investment Managers, the leading real estate fund and asset manager in Europe with over 42 billion of assets under management as at June 2012, announces the appointment of Dietrich Heidtmann as Global Head of Investor Relations and Capital Markets, following the decision by Antoine Jozan, AXA Real Estate's current Head of Investor Relations and Marketing, to retire from full time employment at the end of December 2012 after 12 years of tremendous contribution to AXA Real Estate's growth and success.
Heidtmann joined AXA Real Estate today and is responsible for Investor Relations across Europe, Asia and North America, reporting directly to Deborah Shire, Global Head of Business Development. Dietrich will be a member of the AXA Real Estate Executive Committee and will be based in Paris.
Heidtmann will work jointly with Antoine until the end of the year to ensure an orderly and smooth transition for the best interests of AXA Real Estate's clients. Antoine will then move into a part-time position while keeping his responsibility for Investor Relations in Canada and the Middle East.
Before joining AXA Real Estate, Heidtmann was Managing Director - Capital Markets at Grosvenor, where he was responsible for capital raising and investor relations across Europe, Middle East, Africa and pan-Asia.
Previously, from 1993 to 2011, Heidtmann was at Morgan Stanley International, where he spent most of his career, firstly in Equity Sales and subsequently as Managing Director of Real Estate Private Capital Markets. Heidtmann graduated in Mannheim University (Germany) in Economics and Business Administration.
