Aviva Investors Polish Retail Fund sells retail schemes in Zielona Góra and Piotrków Trybunalski (PL)

The Aviva Investors Polish Retail Fund has signed a preliminary sales agreement for Focus Park in Zielona Góra and Focus Mall in Piotrków Trybunalski. The two shopping centres are to be purchased by Rockcastle for a total of approximately €161 million. Experts from JLL advised Aviva Investors on the transaction.

This deal further proves that conveniently located, well - performing retail assets situated outside major agglomerations are on the investor’s radar. The transaction also shows continued retail investor activity in Poland. In H1 alone the volume of retail investment deals concluded in Poland exceeded €1 billion”.

 

Focus Park is the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Zielona Góra boasting an annual footfall of 5.4 million people. The scheme, commissioned for use in 2008, offers 26,800 sq m of GLA. Key tenants include Alma, Bershka, C&A, CCC, Deichmann, Empik, H&M, New Yorker, Reserved, Rossmann, Smyk, Cinema City, KFC or McDonalds. Customers have 950 parking spaces at their disposal. Focus Park is characterized by its central location and is conveniently accessible by car and public transport.

 

Focus Mall is the largest shopping centre in Piotrków Trybunalski. The scheme with 35,286m² GLA houses such tenants as Tesco, CCC, C&A, H&M, Martes Sport, New Yorker, Pepco, Reserved, Rossmann, Smyk, KFC or Helios Cinema. Focus Mall is situated in in the centre of a dense residential area comprising high-rise blocks of flats and is well served by buses. The scheme was completed in 2009.
