Arena Centar has completed the first stage of refurbishment by expanding its retail area by approximately 2,000m² of the planned 5,500m². The renovation of complex began in January 2018 and will be finalized by the end of the year, adding another 3,500m² of GLA. As a part of the project, ten stores were relocated, with many updating their concepts and expanding their offer to larger retail units. Current tenant roster includes Intersport, Stradivarius, Replay, Sport Vision, Buzz store, Bia Brazil, DermaCare, ShoeBox, Optika Anda, Hoću knjigu!, Hangar 18, and Carpyland playground.
"Such a significant investment is an indicator of the importance and market success of Arena Centar. We have decided to expand because of the great interest of new brands to enter Arena Centar, but also because of the demands of existing retailers to expand their stores. This is also the best indicator of the popularity of the Arena Centar among customers," said Tomislav Dekalic, director of Arena Centar.
The grand re-opening of the retail park is scheduled for 2019.
